Spent some time looking at how certain platforms handle multicurrency setups for both individuals and businesses registered in the UK. The setup seems fairly standard on paper. You get personal IBANs per account which is useful if you want to keep currencies separated rather than constantly converting. The account opening window is stated as up to 48 hours after documents are submitted which is reasonable compared to what traditional institutions typically offer. Transfer options cover SEPA SWIFT and UK local payments so nothing exotic there. The part that caught my attention was the exchange rate structure. A 0.3% fee on currency conversion is relatively low compared to what most banks quietly charge through spread. You can also receive payments directly to your IBAN and make payouts to cards from the same account. If you're looking to get a clearer picture of what this type of service involves technically you can create business account online and check the terms yourself rather than relying on summaries. Accounts in the EUR GBP and USD are supported and the eligibility is limited to UK-registered individuals or legal entities. Shell banks nested financial structures and unregistered charities are explicitly excluded which at least suggests some baseline compliance logic is in place. The dashboard for transaction monitoring is mentioned but I haven't used it personally so I can't say much about how granular the reporting actually is. Overall it reads like a functional infrastructure play rather than a consumer-facing product with heavy marketing.
